Trail Conditions

Trail Report - February 18, 2015 --  LDF trails are in good to very good shape. We received 3 to 4 inches of snow last week which has helped improve the snow base on the trails and cover up some of the exposed gravel on the railroad bed. There still is gravel showing on trail 17 north and south of the Powell Marsh bridge. The trail running north and south across Fence lake which has been closed is now marked and is open but it is very rough with lots of ruts so please slow down in this area. There has been heavy traffic in the area during the weekend causing the trails to get pretty rough by the end of the day. The groomer is going out every night to get them ready for the next day. With the additional snow and continued cold weather in the forecast it looks like we will have another great weekend of snowmobiling in the Lac du Flambeau area. Check out the LDF webcam for the latest snow depths. - Slow down, stay to the right side of the trail and ride safe.
